Assam CM Dr Himanta-led Cabinet decides to assign ‘Guardian Minister’ to nurture every District for robust growth

Gana Adhikar News, Guwahati, May 26 : In the wake of the recent announcement by Assam’s Cabinet Minister and Spokesperson Pijush Hazarika about the new Government’s policy changes, the State Cabinet in its meeting held in Dispur this noon unanimously decided to assign a ‘Guardian Minister‘ to each district administration “for better implementation of schemes/ projects and other public welfare activities.”
Today’s Cabinet was presided over by the Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma,
Today’s State Cabinet meet also decided to create Bodoland Welfare Department and Bodoland Administrative Staff College stating that establishing them would “enhance administrative capacity of Bodoland Territorial Region”.
Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma-led Cabinet further decided that ” Fund disbursement process of Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension Scheme and Indira Miri Widow Pension Scheme shall be simplified” for the benefit and convenience of the end beneficiaries.
